Spring Sugar Cookies

Spring is in the air, or at least it will be soon! With St, Patrick's Day at our doorstep, Spring is not far behind! This weekend I got a hankering for some sugar cookies with an almond extract buttercream, can you blame me?  So I whipped up a batch of buttery, soft, and doughy sugar cookies.  Now I often work with buttercream, but this time I decided to venture out from my typical piping tips and try the new fad of Russian pipping tips, and I was pretty impressed with the result.
