Baking Delightful Memories
Yesterday I made a wedding anniversary cake for some clients, in an attempt to bring back fond memories, I asked them what was the type of cake they had at their wedding; they said a pineapple upside down cake. So I got to baking, and made a delicious rendition of the wedding cake with a tangy twist!
This classic pineapple upside down cake had your typical pineapples, cherries, and brown sugar syrup; but in the middle was a thick layer of tangy cream cheese buttercream to help break up some of the sweetness of the yellow cake and pineapples.
